  • God calls Abram in Ur of the Chaldees (Genesis 12:1–3)
  • God appears to Abram near Shechem in Canaan (Genesis 12:7)
  • God speaks to Abram after Lot’s separation (Genesis 13:14–17)
  • God confirms His covenant with Abram (Genesis 15:1–21)
  • God changes Abram’s and Sarai’s names, expands the covenant, adding male circumcision as a token (Genesis 17:1–22)
